Education and emergency response

HUBEJE is the mission office of the Jesuits in Belgium, working in international development. Founded in 1973, we deliver projects across 30 developing countries, prioritising the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and India.

Education is our key focus, but we also work in basic healthcare, HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment, agriculture and food security. Increasingly, we are emphasising the integrity of creation in our project work, as well as giving gender equality a stronger profile. We respond to humanitarian emergencies as part of the Xavier Network.
