This seminar is part of the project Promoting a Consistent Culture of Protection (PCCP), of the Secretariat for Social Justice and Ecology (SJES) of the General Curia of the Society of Jesus. PCCP is the global strategy of the Society of Jesus to achieve effective prevention of abuse within and outside the Church worldwide.

The Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University (UARM), promoted by the Society of Jesus in Peru, has created the Institute for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Persons (IPMEP), attached to the General Direction of Research of the university.

With the creation of this institute, the UARM seeks to contribute to the protection of children, adolescents and people in vulnerable situations through the development and implementation of prevention and research measures against violence and abuse in all its forms.

Dafne Zapata, a psychologist studying for a Diploma in Child Protection at the Center for Child Protection (CCP) in Rome, will be in charge of this center. Claudia Neyra, a candidate for a master's degree in Community Psychology, with experience in clinical intervention in cases of violence and development of social projects, will be in charge of its coordination. Nino Villarroel, SJ, a Jesuit student in his last year of Psychology, will also participate in the team.
